Live sports
events are one of the most challenging productions in today`s world.
Almost all the graphics are sent to air randomly and an extremely
fast reaction is needed. Sports graphics is a demanding application
field – where historical and live data presentation is required
instantan eously for display. Apart from simple data graphics, one is
also looking for a flexible and open system that allows creating
complex computations to present play analysis, predictions, contests,
and viewer interaction, polls, play simulations etc.
Concept that although to some extent the different types of sports
share a common ground, they differ from each other and those
differences must be taken into account during production.
Graphic Templates can be design on any preferred platform. The
templates are then automated by integration with Live Data being
captured on the field. Data Capture interfaces are provided for
optimal operation and being able to capture every minute detail very
quickly. This data is then available to producers to present by means
of Live Intutive Graphics.
For each of the different sports, a dedicated controller is
available. A large portion of those controllers share some features,
but some parts differ from each other in order to address the
specific rules of the relevant sport and the different needs of each
production. Typically the controller will contain two main tabs; the
pre-game tab will allow the operator to easily prepare for the game -
rosters and line ups are set, statistical data of each of the players
is pulled out etc; the production tab is than used during the game
itself. The operation is incredibly quick, no more than 2 clicks are
needed in order to take graphics to air, data is retrieved from
statistical collection systems in real time and clocks are
automatically activated
